Ingredients:
- 3 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
- 4-6 slices of roasted turkey breast
- 2 slices of crispy bacon
- 2-3 slices of tomato
- Lettuce leaves (romaine or iceberg)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Optional: Avocado slices, cheese (Swiss or cheddar), Dijon mustard
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
- Toast the Bread: Toast the bread slices until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Cook the Bacon: Fry the bacon slices in a skillet until they are crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Step 2: Assemble the Sandwich
- Spread Mayonnaise: Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each toasted bread slice.
- Layer the Ingredients:
- On the first slice of bread (mayonnaise side up), place a few leaves of lettuce, followed by tomato slices and turkey.
- Add the second slice of bread on top (mayonnaise side down) and spread more mayonnaise on the top side of this slice.
- Add the crispy bacon and more lettuce. Optionally, add slices of avocado or cheese if desired.
- Top with Final Slice: Place the final slice of bread (mayonnaise side down) on top to complete the sandwich.
Step 3: Cut and Serve
- Slice: Secure the sandwich with toothpicks at each corner, then cut it diagonally into triangles to make it easier to eat.
- Serve: Serve with chips, fries, or a side salad.
Tips:
- You can customize your turkey club by adding a different kind of cheese or spreading a little mustard or Dijon for extra flavor.
- For a lighter option, use turkey bacon or skip the bacon altogether.
